Yesterday, at 6pm, I headed over to Eka's house so we could go watch her high school play. She was able to get her dad's van out (score!), so there our adventure began.. We arrived at Tupper, and for some reason it felt so weird being at a public school. haha. I know, I'm weird. Got our tickets, seats, and eventually, Pamela (Eka's friend) came. I felt kind of out of place, but as Eka said, "At least you saw two people you knew!" haha true that! The play was hilarious! I loved it. Especially the jokes.. teehee.
"What do you call an east indian man who works at the pub?"
"Bartinder!"
"Are you from the Soviet Union?"
"No.. why?"
"Because it sounds like you're RUSH-ING (RUSSIAN)"
Maybe it doesn't sound that funny, or funny at all BUT it was unbelievably funny when we heard it. haha. You just had to be there!
Afterwards, chilled a bit at the school and headed to Sui Sha Ya for some all-you-can-eat sushi! Yumyum. Then my lovely grandma, Eka drove me home. (Thank you for the rides, and bringing me to the play! Love you! <3)
P.S. It's in the palm of your hands. Now or never.
