I was hurt. So I don't want to risk it, again.. not just yet.. So let me make this clear, I'm not going to give it another try nor am I going to "go with the flow" like we agreed. I think I deserve better than being a "rebound" or whatever you'd like to call it. It's a done deal. It's over. So..

Eighteen mosquito bites, hot and humid weather...

Ugh. I hate Vietnam...

It has only been about eight days , and so far I'm lovin' it here. Except for the mosquito bites, and icky sticky weather. I have a feeling my legs are going to get swollen with all the huge red bites. It's gross 'cause you can feel it pop up! haha. I know, sounds pretty lovely.. yuuck. Ahhh, it's so itchy, but I must not scratch. haha. Anyways, what have I been up to.. I've been visiting a lot of relatives here and there, chillin' with my nieces and nephews that are younger AND older than me, shopping when I get the chance, bonding with my relatives from both sides of the family, prepping for my gma's 104'th Birthday! Shoot, she's SO old, and actually pretty healthy. And her memory is incredibly good. Way better than anyone else in my family. She can remember way back when my siblings were kids. Pretty impressive!

I love my family here.

So yesterday, I went to a beach with my cousins, nephew, and his two friends. Very romantic.. not! haha. Afterwards, we ate at this outdoor restaurant nearby. We had a seafood fest, along with beer , and coke . But soon after.. my cousin was just kidding around with the waitress, "Hey, we want some Vodka here." All of us: "Are you serious? Are you going to actually drink it?" Cousin: "No.." All of us: "What the heck.. why would you make that girl get it then?" Cousin: "Cause.." What a lie! My cousin totally made me drink some VODKA HANOI aka Nammer Vodka, which consisted 30 percent of alchohol. Not bad, not bad. I was kind of scared though.. I didn't want them to see the "drunk" me.. and plus, my mom would KILL me. SO I made my cousin's wife help me drink the bottle. hehe. Man.. I got so red so fast! Ughh.. haha. Anyways, I got pretty tipsy, which made it more fun. We laughed about a lot of random things, and kept making fun of my nephew.. He's 24, and is apparently "getting to know" this girl who's 3 years younger than me. You do the math. HAHAHA. Shoot, he's going to go to jail! haha kidding. Side note: Just a few seconds ago, nephew number 01355656 was singing really loudly, and opened the door to the room that I was in, and closed it immediatelywhen he saw me. hahaha, he's probably embarrassed.. SIGH. And I thought it would suck not having cousins around my age.. thank goodness for their kids! haha. Anyways, this is getting long, and is probably boring to read.. and I have to go out soon.

Wifi, you're going to be the death of me.

I thought leaving to Vietnam would be kind of a "getaway" from everything that has happened in the past few months. And guess what? I thought.. wrong! Thanks to Wifi, I have access to internet practically everywhere I go. It kind of sucks to know that we're 34893489344394 miles apart, yet we can still talk to each other as if I was still at home. Since I can only talk to you, and not see you.. is it safe to say that I miss you, too? Ugh. I've been pretty good these past few days, and now? Ehh, I've got lots of thoughts circling my mind, and I don't know what to do about them.. sigh sigh sigh.

ANYWAYS, I'm going to head to the theatre to watch Angels & Demons (for the second time)! I think I'll be watching it in Vietnamese? Hmm, this will be interesting! haha. Later!

It's hot, humid, and I'm sweating like maaaaad.

I've only been in Vietnam for 3 days, and it feels like I've been here for quite awhile. It's only 8:32pm here, and I'm soooo sleepy! I think it's cause of my new sleeping pattern. Sleeping before 12am, and waking up at like 5/6am everyday! Oh maaaaaan, I'm going to be exhausted by the end of this trip. haha. I'm so glad that my aunt's place has an AC room that has a tv (w/ Family Channel), big bed, and laptops! yeeeeee. :) So lately I've been visiting relatives, exploring Saigon (day/night markets), swimming every morning, watching High School Musical 1 & 2 on the Family Channel (HSM 3 left!), riding motorcycles, taking naps, eating every hour, taking walks, late night ice cream, and just chillin'. Ah man, little boy is crying so I must end here so I can watch him! boo. haha. Sorry for boring blog! Until next time..

It's currently 3:11am (Sunday, June 7th, 2009) Ahhh, I didn't realise that it has already been a week of June. SHOOT. Time flies by TOO fast. Don't you think? Anyways, this will be last post that I'll be updating from Vancouver. Yikes. I can't believe I'm leaving later tonight/tomorrow-ish! I'm kind of excited, but sad at the same time. :( I've been spending a lot of good, quality time with everyone these past few weeks, and it has been perfect. You guys are my second family. I'd marry all of you guys if I could. hahaha. Keep you guys with me forever, and ever! I don't know how things are going to be like when I'll be spending a month in Vietnam WITHOUT all of you! Shoot. This is going to be pretty difficult. SIGH. I'm honeslty going to miss all of you sooooooooooooo much! I'd do anything to come back asap! I'll try my best.. :) hehe. Oh my, I'm only gone for a month and it feels like I'll never be back. Ah, thanks for the good times this summer so far. I'll see you guys in a month! :) lovelovelove. <3
